At Mason, we aspire to co-create a campus environment in which every member of our community, without exception, is valued, supported, and experiences a sense of belonging. Thus, it is important that every member takes an active role in making that aspiration a reality by engaging in reflection, unlearning, and learning.
As students prepare to join the Mason community, all new students should complete (2) lessons of Perspectives, an online education platform developed by the Constructive Dialogue Institute.
The week of July 8 you will receive an email to your GMU email inbox called: “You have been invited to the course Perspectives – GMU 2024,” from no- reply@constructivedialogue.org> via thoughtindustries.com. Click on the link in the email and create an account using your GMU email.
Just make sure to complete Perspectives before August 17 and you will be entered into a raffle to win exciting prizes (e.g., parking passes, meal vouchers, iPads, etc.).
For help in navigating any steps, feel free to contact New Student and Family Programs at orientu@gmu.edu or 703-993-2475.
